What is NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming):

NLP was co-founded in the 1970s by Dr. Richard Bandler, a psychologist, and Dr. John Grinder, a linguist, as a way to discover 'the difference that makes the difference' in personal and professional success and the ability to duplicate it. The results of this investigation were amazingly simple, powerful methods that allow people to skilfully alter and control the filters and patterns that we place on our experience.

When these filters and patterns are altered, change is a certainty and a far wider array of options are at our fingertips. The ability to apply these methods consistently and skilfully produces impactful change in both personal and professional areas.

Modelling
Richard Bandler and John Grinder were able to develop a sophisticated system for eliciting the linguistic patterns and key beliefs and behaviours of successful individuals. This is known as modelling and is a key aspect of NLP. It allows the practitioner of NLP to elicit the strategies of any individual, duplicate them and pass them on to others. Modelling is an elegant and powerful way to disseminate best practice.

Worldwide
NLP is being constantly refined and developed by the large number of professional practitioners worldwide. It is used by them to achieve success in personal development, teaching, counselling, health care, sports, and business.
